Mr. Kasik is an experienced educator with over 20 years in the field. He began his career in 1998 as a teacher at Braddock Elementary in Fairfax County. He became Assistant Principal of Washington Mill Elementary in 2004, before being appointed Principal at Crestwood Elementary in 2010, where he was twice named Top-Rated Principal by the Fairfax County Federation of Teachers. Mr. Kasik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.

Ms. Covey has spent her entire educational career working with elementary school students in the Fairfax County Public School District. She has been a classroom teacher, math resource teacher, instructional coach, and Assistant Principal. She works collaboratively with teachers and staff members to maintain a focus on providing rigorous and authentic learning opportunities for all students in a warm, welcoming, and caring school environment.
