Middle school students talking to each other in class

The sixth grade is learning more about the motivations of different characters and examining their traits and strengths.

Through peer interviews, they are answering questions including:

  • How would you describe the protagonist?
  • How did the protagonist react to conflict, and why did they react this way?
  • How did the protagonist change?

For this unit, students picked a book of their choice, and as they interviewed each other, they learned about different characters and books to enjoy in the future.
